1. Gather on Maui — BEST overall for a wedding group

It's designed for events and weddings rather than trying to squeeze a wedding party into a normal restaurant. It has ocean views and dedicated event spaces. Its 2026 event information lists options for groups from about 100 guests upward, but smaller arrangements are also possible depending on the setup.

It's beachfront at Grand Wailea, and the restaurant has private dining options plus rooms for groups of 40–62 and larger events.

Central Maui

If the group is 30–100+ people, Central Maui becomes much more attractive because you're not paying Wailea resort prices just for the location.

Their private Big Room has capacity for about 180 people, with a private entrance, private restrooms and private outdoor patio. They also offer event menus suitable for weddings.

Good if the group wants something other than Hawaiian/seafood.
